Wellyou apparently arent reading to closely because the top speed for a 1997 CBR 600f3 is 164mph, the 98's had better gearing and got 172mph so 2001 with 20-25hp more + better gearing = 190mph easily read the right stuff man and by the way the hayabusa is fater than a 12r and has been since it realeased in the U.S.
761posts · Joined 2003. #12 · Dec 28, 2004. For reference my 96 F3 made 84 hp at the rear wheel with a slip on. I've since changed to 2 teeth larger in the rear (no hp gain, obviously) and frankly, on the highway that poor little bike is screaming.

PostedOver 1 Month. 1998 Honda Cbr 600F3V, This is a 1998 CBRSE aka CBRF3 "Smokin' Joes". Only 2000 total Smokin Joe's were ever produced, 1500 of them were produced in 1998. This bike is #1047/1500, as derived from the VIN. They are identical in every way to a regular F3, except for the paint and decals.
